Getting and Using a Library Card
University Extension students may obtain a UCR Library card from the Rivera or Orbach Science Library Circulation Desk or use a UCR Card for library services. To obtain a library card, please bring your proof of enrollment card or receipt showing fees paid from the UCR University Extension Center to establish library privileges and confirmation of address (i.e. driver's license). Privileges are issued for the length of the course.
Borrowing privileges include the ability to check out books and other materials. They do not include privileges to access databases, e-books, and e-journals remotely or the use of interlibrary loan.
