We have a new home!
UCR University Extension has always been a leader in online delivery, and now with 100% of our courses and programs offered online, and no need to schedule as many in-person offerings, we have moved from the older and larger 5-story building, to smaller and more modern facilities in University Village.
The administrative offices and classroom spaces are located at 1299 University Avenue, Suite 201 (on the corner of Iowa and University, on the first and second floors next to and above Chase Bank). They are now open to serve you!
For our students enrolling in courses offered in-person, the new facilities will follow strict safety and sanitation protocols; current public health guidelines will be adhered to at all times; and proof of vaccination is required.
The technology in the new facilities has been upgraded, so everyone can enjoy a seamless learning experience, combining Canvas, Zoom, PowerPoint and OpenBoard platforms. Multiple delivery options are also available: in-person, online, or you may choose a hybrid experience—combining online and in-person learning.
A new delivery option, “Dual Mode,” allows our students to attend in-person classes, or participate in the classes via live webcasts—or combine the two. Dual Mode lets you customize your learning experiences to best fit your personal schedule and needs. Check our website to see the course delivery method that has been assigned to your course.
The administrative offices (Suite 201) will be open Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (PST). Student Experience will be staffed to assist walk-ins, and answer phones during those hours; however, all of UCR University Extension’s enrollment, payment, transcript requests, Concurrent Enrollment, and other support services may also be completed entirely online.
