A Journey of Academic and Personal Growth: Alison Li’s Road to Success
For Alison Li, completing the Master of Business Preparation Program (MBPP) at UCR University Extension was about more than just academics—it was about experiencing a new culture and environment. The classroom atmosphere, where students freely asked questions, shared opinions, and connected with professors outside of class, made a real impact on her.
Alison found that her classmates were an invaluable source of support, sharing their experiences and giving her insights that helped her feel more confident about her future. One of the most meaningful moments for her was the guidance she received from her program advisor, who helped her navigate the application process for graduate school and ultimately played a key role in her acceptance to her dream school.
With plans to pursue a Master of Accountancy and eventually work at one of the Big Four firms, Alison is looking forward to what’s next. She’s grateful for the support from her professors, classmates, and mentors throughout the program.
