Quantitative methods for spatial analysis using GIS. Fundamental and theoretical components of spatial information for building topological relationships among spatial features and multiple map layers. Includes models and techniques for surface analysis, such as krigging, smoothing, filtering, inverse distance weighting, and distance decay.
