Introduction to the differential calculus of functions of one variable for students majoring in Life Sciences.
This course will prepare students to:

- Find derivatives using Power Rule and Basic Rules of Differentiation
- Find derivatives using product rule
- Find derivatives using quotient rule
- Use chain rule correctly
- Find higher order derivatives
- Find derivatives of Trigonometric Functions
- Find derivatives of Exponential Functions
- Graphing and Asymptotes
- Monotonicity and Concavity
- Find Extrema and Inflection Points
- Use the Mean Value Theorem
Students must have taken high school mathematics. MATH 005A or MATH 006B
