About the Course

Provides educators the tools, research, and support for reaching, teaching, and classifying gifted and talented youth. You will be exposed to the barriers and misconceptions that surround gifted and talented education, and how to combat them. Discover various strategies and concepts to implement within your instruction, as well as foundational elements for why these strategies are effective and impactful. Provided within the coursework are real-world examples and scenarios, taken from live classroom instruction to serve as inspiration and a starting point to use in your own classroom. Programs and strategies like Makerspace, Growth Mindset, STEAM, and basic differentiation will be covered. You will be able to immediately apply these tools in your classrooms.
