About the Course
This capstone course is designed for consolidating the knowledge and skills you gained during the previous courses. Identify internal assets and business critical systems that need to be protected from cyber attack, investigate the threats to an organization’s critical business systems and data, implement appropriate technologies to mitigate the risk of cyber threats, and learn the appropriate response to a breach in an organization’s cybersecurity.
- Gain hands-on experience in conducting a risk analysis of the current cybersecurity stance, incorporating the company IT strategy, developing a cybersecurity strategy for an organization
- Demonstrate understanding regarding how to recommend technologies to secure the three key dimensions of an organization’s cybersecurity, namely the system, the network, and crucial data
- Propose an effective incident response plan that addresses a cybersecurity breach
- Manage external stakeholder demands, communication, and pressure.
