Instruction on the planning, execution, and interpretation of educational assessments. Design and develop formative and summative competency-based assessments. Link assessments directly to clearly-defined learning, and examine theoretical and practical approaches to evaluating student performance, teacher performance, and educational programs. Explore a variety of assessment tools and methods, and apply competency-based assessments used in didactic, simulated, and clinical learning environments. Preventing bias in evaluation and assessment will also be discussed.
