About the Course
A general introduction to the aims and methods of archaeology, in both the field and laboratory. By the end of this course, you should be able to situate basic knowledge of archaeology within an anthropological framework, and have a good comprehension of the methods that archaeologists use to reconstruct the past. World prehistory as revealed by these methods will be briefly surveyed.
