Begin with a review of employment law and conclude with a discussion of the organization of HR functions. Receive a thorough and comprehensive examination of the most valuable resources in the nonprofit organization: its staff and volunteers. Discuss recruiting, hiring, salaries, benefits, terminations, and layoffs. In addition, managing performance, team leadership, and supervision are presented as tools that nonprofits can use to increase productivity and effectiveness in their operations, programs, and services.
Three or more years of experience as a nonprofit manager/executive or completion of the Nonprofit Management Certificate Program or equivalent post-secondary training
