Reviews sworn expert testimony in the legal system with a focus on declarations, depositions and courtroom testimony, and the differences between each of these. It is designed as a practical guide to being a successful expert witness. You will discuss the scope and purpose of expert testimony, preparation for testimony, and practice pointers for presenting effective testimony. The roles of "fact witnesses" and "expert witnesses" will also be explored.
