About the Course
Provides you with the knowledge and skills to integrate technology and media into language teaching, which is a necessity for the creation and development of a successful language class. Focuses on the practical and effective uses of technology in the classroom. Discussions include technology for specific pedagogies, current and future trends in technology, Web 2.0 resources, and teaching in a virtual environment. You will propose, revise, and complete a specific lesson plan which integrates an element of technology or media within established pedagogy. You will gain a solid understanding of how to use technologies and media in language classes.
