About the Course
Learn how teaching language skills to young children differs from teaching older learners. Learn principles, methods, and techniques for teaching younger learners, as well as special considerations for materials, lesson planning, lesson delivery, assessment and feedback. Observe and examine age-appropriate lessons, texts, resources, and activities, and analyze the use of these techniques in future teaching. You will also create an original lesson plan, and reflect on your development and professional growth.
Students pursuing a TESOL Certificate must meet program entrance requirements. Advanced academic writing skills are recommended.
