Iyengar, who was born on December 14, 1918, and is a world-renowned yoga teacher from Pune, India. He writes, teaches, practices and inspires millions throughout the world. B.K.S. Iyengar practices the classical form of yoga, codified by Sage Pantanjali over 2,000 years ago. According to B.K.S. Iyengar: "Words cannot convey the value of yoga. It has to be experienced."
