Accessing your online course begins at elearn.extension.ucr.edu. Use your UCR NetID to login and access your course through the CAS login link. If you have enrolled in previous online courses at UCR Extension, your UCR NetID and password will be the same as for previous courses.
In order to use Moodle, you should have the latest version of the Web browser you will use to access the course area. Firefox & Internet Explorer are recommended. Safari and Chrome also work, but offer limited access to Moodle's editing tools.
Help with Moodle is available on our Moodle website through the Moodle Help for Students link in the upper right of every page on the site. You will need to log in using your UCR NetID to access Moodle help. Moodle Frequently Asked Questions for students are available without logging in.
When you set up your UCR NetID and the 4-hour activation period has passed, remember that courses on Moodle are not open for access until 7 days prior to the posted start date. If you try logging in more than 7 days prior to the start date, you will receive an error message. Please try again when the class becomes available.

When you set up (or link) your UCR NetID, remember that you must wait 24 hours after the setup/linking process before you can access your courses on iLearn (Blackboard).
Wireless access is provided through the UCR campus wireless network and coverage includes most areas of the UCR Extension Center. Using your UCR NetID, you can access the Internet using a wireless-equipped device such as a laptop, PDA or cell phone. Find out more about WiFi at UCR and getting connected.
Remember that you must allow 3 hours for your UCR NetID to upload and activate before you can use it to access WiFi. This is why we recommend that you set up your UCR NetID a few days prior to your first class meeting.
