Whether you wish to host a personal Web site or create a Web environment for a business or organization, you will explore the issues surrounding the key technology elements in building a successful Web presence.

This course teaches fundamental skills in web site development and the Web publishing process is explored in detail. You have the opportunity to pursue a hands-on Web publishing project to gain a full understanding of the steps and milestones to develop an effective Web presence.
Explore open-source Web-based applications and how to manage a web presence using Apache, PHP and MySQL. Topics include PHP programming, administering MySQL with PHP, and the configuration, management and maintenance of Apache Web server.
