Understanding Your Role as Supervisor
Examines the role of the supervisor in the workplace, including managing and influencing others, focusing on strengths to improve performance, building effective relationships with those you supervise, and identifying ways to improve performance by managing others more effectively.

Managing High Performance Teams

Motivating, Managing, and Developing Others
A thorough introduction to the various methodologies, techniques, and strategies available to business leaders, managers and entrepreneur's seeking to improve their staff's capabilities, engagement, innovation and flexibility. You will also examine the attitudes and attributes successful coaches and mentors use to empower others. Discussions include:

Examines the strategies and techniques supervisors can utilize to ensure that organizational values, goals, and objectives are met--even in the presence of organizational discord or management conflict. You will explore the role of diversity in the workplace and how to create an environment in which men and women of different cultural, ethnic, religious, socioeconomic backgrounds and disabilities can work together agreeably. You will also discuss:
- work-related scenarios that often result in conflict
- identifying, understanding, and managing differences between self and others
- developing and maintaining effective working relationships
- accepting and providing feedback
- problem solving techniques
- mediating and when to elicit help

Moving Through Change: What's In It For Me?
Discussion of the strategies and techniques to be a successful mentor and coach to lead others through change management. Topics include developing a personal action plan for change management, influencing the change process, seeing the end result, pushing past resistance, identifying key stakeholders in the change process, getting buy-in from those you supervise, implementation process in change management and using change for reorganization and continuous process improvement.
